On April 8, 2017, one of our international carriers – SEACOM – suffered a subsea fiber cable cut. Consequently, some Zuku Fiber customers have been experiencing internet service disruption when loading some internet sites.

SEACOM is among the main internet carriers globally and the outage has affected several jurisdictions from the east coast of Africa up to Europe. SEACOM has reported that they have made significant interventions to restore their services. Most Zuku customers are already experiencing significant service quality improvement. As per SEACOMs advise full service restoration is expected to happen on 2nd May 2017.

Zuku Fiber is committed to delivering quality services to our esteemed customers and greatly appreciates the continued patronage of our customers to Zuku Fiber products and services. Zuku Fiber will continue to update customers on the progress of the resolution of the issue.
